What requirements does a minor need to travel?

When arranging a minor's journey, it is important to have the necessary documentation and check the applicable conditions for the route.

If travelling alone:

- Check with CEIBA INTERCONTINENTAL the acceptance conditions based on the minor's age.

- Have all travel documents required for the destination.

- Request the Unaccompanied Minor service where applicable.

- Provide the details of the parents or legal guardians and the authorised person responsible for receiving the minor at the destination, in accordance with the airline's requirements.

- Provide the details of the person accompanying the minor to the airport.

If travelling with another adult:

- The minor's ticket must be linked to the accompanying adult's ticket so that both are associated with the same booking.

- Have the identity and travel documents required for the minor.

- Check whether the destination requires any additional authorisation or documentation.

- Provide the parents' details if the minor is travelling with another adult.

Requirements may vary depending on the route and applicable regulations. We therefore recommend confirming the necessary documentation before the travel date.

How can the service be requested?

To request the Unaccompanied Minor service, parents or legal guardians must visit any CEIBA INTERCONTINENTAL office, where they will receive information about the procedure, requirements and travel conditions.

We recommend making the arrangements in advance to prepare for the journey and clarify any questions before departure.
