 Company History

Ceiba Intercontinental is the National Airline of Equatorial Guinea established in 2007 with a small fleet of ATR aircraft that initially operated domestic flights. Later the airline expanded its network outside the country, to other regional destinations to Central and West Africa.

Operating from Malabo International Airport as our hub, Ceiba Intercontinental is one of the fastest growing airlines in West and Central Africa operating one of the youngest and state of the art fleet on the continent which comprises of one (1) B777-200, (1) B767-200,  three (3) B737-800 and one (1) ATR72-500. It operates to six (6) destinations majority of which are domestic.

The airline has big ambitions of becoming a major player in the region focusing on developing its base in Malabo as a major connecting hub for both passengers and Cargo.

Prospective destinations include Brazzaville, Cotonou, Douala, Libreville, Niamey, Ouagadougou, Dakar, Abjan, Ndjamena and Madrid.

Providing the country with a safe, modern airline with the objective of facilitating movement of passengers and cargo both nationally and internationally and at the same time contributing to the development of air transport on the African Continent.

Mission & Objectiv

  1. Offer its customers the best service at all levels, from ticket purchase to on board service, as well as respecting compliance to international safety standards.
  2. International presence through network expansion with Malabo as a hub.
  3. Increase our presence on the international market and become a leading airline in service offering on continent.
  4. Strengthen relationships with other companies in the sector and countries in a bid to promote both political and social cohesion.
